Ryan Aschenbrener is a welcomed addition to the Carolina Spine team. He is originally from Wisconsin, completed his Interventional Spine fellowship in Washington, D.C., and joined CSC in 2022. Dr. Aschenbrener enhances our positive culture with his upbeat and easygoing demeanor. His skilled training in evolving interventional therapies including PRP, intradiscal therapy, and peripheral nerve stimulation can improve the function and quality of life for our patients. He enjoys basketball, cycling, playing guitar, and watching the Packers.

Paul G. Singh is originally from Indiana. He and his family moved to Cary, NC in 2007, and he practiced in Cary and Raleigh for 2 years before starting Carolina Spine Center in Richmond County at the end of 2009. He then returned to Cary at the end of 2011 and is thankful for the journey that allows him to continue to practice in both Richmond County and Wake County. His goal is to connect to people, make them feel at ease, and deliver high level technical spine care.

Louis A. Torres is originally from Illinois. He and his family moved to Cary, NC and joined Carolina Spine Center in July 2016. A former collegiate swimmer, he has a comprehensive understanding of musculoskeletal disorders and brings additional technical expertise and compassion to the Carolina Spine team. He and Dr. Singh’s friendship and support for each other enhances their care for their patients.

Peng Bai is originally from Ohio. He and his wife moved to Cary from Winston Salem, NC where he had been practicing with Ortho Carolina for over three years. Interested in moving to the Triangle area to be closer to family, he felt fortunate to be able to join Carolina Spine Center in November of 2018. Dr. Bai’s friendship with Dr. Singh and Dr. Torres as well as similar styles of practice have strengthened the group’s ability to deliver positive and team-oriented care to improve function and quality of life to patients.
